The workshop will feature a mix of oral and poster presentations, with a program that will be refined based on submitted abstracts. It is planned to have Tuesday as “clinical day”, featuring  presentations from Caroline Stokke and colleagues from other hospitals in  Norway.

&lt;p&gt;The course at the University of Oslo, taught by Caroline Stokke, offers an introduction to imaging modalities based on ionizing radiation, with a focus on medical diagnostics. This comprehensive course will cover essential topics such as x-ray equipment, CT, gamma cameras/SPECT, and PET. Participants will gain an understanding of the technological foundations of these modalities and the principles of image formation and reconstruction.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The course also includes methods for measuring and calculating absorbed doses and image quality, along with insights into practical applications and optimization techniques to balance radiation doses and image quality. By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and tools needed to apply these principles in academic or clinical settings.&lt;/p&gt;
